DR. LUCY SOTO
President 1A1 Mexico

Physician, psychologist, writer, communicator, and a woman at the service of humanity Dr. Lucy Soto is a person whose life has been deeply shaped by a calling: to serve human beings, accompany them in their transformation processes, and contribute—through knowledge, awareness, and love—to the creation of a healthier, more conscious, and more peaceful world.
From a very young age, she discovered and understood that her life would have a mission related to humanity. Deep in her heart, she felt the call to do something for others. Over time, she found in medicine the path through which she could draw near to people's pain, suffering, and needs, accompanying them through their illness and recovery processes. Since then, she has dedicated her life to study, service, and the pursuit of a deeper understanding of the human being.
She is a General Practitioner specializing in Internal Medicine, an ontological coach, and holds a degree in Psychology with a specialization in Spiritual Psychology. She also holds diplomas in Holistic Medicine, Natural Medicine, and Emotional Counseling.
Her professional background reflects a constant quest to understand the human being from different perspectives. For Dr. Lucy Soto, a person cannot be fragmented. Body, mind, emotions, and spirit are part of the same reality, and to achieve true health and harmony, it is essential to understand the human being as a whole. For more than 25 years, she has worked in two public sector hospitals in Mexico, guiding countless individuals through their medical journeys. Throughout this extensive professional path, she has learned that behind every diagnosis lies a story, a family, an emotion, and a person who needs to be heard.
To her, a good doctor is not simply someone who understands diseases.
She is someone who knows how to listen, who looks at you right into your eye, who tries to understand the patient’s reality, who is capable of seeing beyond the symptoms, who understands that, on many occasions, a person needs not only a treatment, but also to be understood, accompanied, and helped to find new meaning in their journey.
Dr. Lucy Soto believes that illness can often become an opportunity to stop and look at our lives. It can make us aware of what we do not see, what we refuse to accept, or what we have kept in silence for a long time. From her holistic perspective, illness can also become a process of learning and awakening—not because suffering is desirable, but because even in the most difficult moments of existence, a new awareness, a profound transformation, and an opportunity to start anew can emerge. Her work has always been oriented toward helping people understand that health is not merely the absence of disease. True health also implies learning to listen to the body, recognizing emotions, caring for the mind, cultivating inner peace, and finding deep meaning in one's own existence. Along this path, Dr. Lucy Soto has become a healer of emotions, bodies, and souls; a rescuer of inner silence and a transmitter of the light of knowledge.
Currently, Dr. Lucy Soto serves as the director of the Centro de la Nueva Salud (New Health Center) and is the president of the Fundación 1A1 México. She also holds the Presidency of the Executive Committee of the World Conference of Peace and Light, an important international gathering celebrating its twelfth edition this year. Through this Conference, Dr. Lucy Soto actively participates in creating an international space for gathering, reflection, knowledge, and awareness, where people from different parts of the world share their experiences, knowledge, and vision surrounding peace, light, spirituality, and the evolution of humanity. Her work in favor of peace represents one of the most important expressions of her commitment to humanity.
