Center for Happiness (CFH)

The Center for Happiness (CFH), established by the 1A1 Foundation, is a pioneering global hub
dedicated to the deep exploration, cultivation, and dissemination of genuine happiness as a
foundational state of human consciousness and collective well-being. Recognizing happiness
not merely as fleeting pleasure or external success, but as an enduring inner quality rooted in
awareness, purpose, connection, and alignment with the greater whole, the Center integrates
timeless wisdom traditions with contemporary scientific research.

At its core, the CFH investigates the nature of eudaimonic happiness — the flourishing that
arises from meaning, virtue, and awakened presence — through interdisciplinary lenses
including positive psychology, contemplative neuroscience, ancient contemplative practices,
and metaphysical inquiry into the essence of joy and fulfillment. Research programs examine
the neurobiology of sustained well-being, the role of inner awareness in emotional resilience,
the impact of coherent heart-mind states, and the influence of subtle energies on human
flourishing.

The Center offers immersive programs, retreats, workshops, and long-term training that
combine evidence-based practices with profound spiritual teachings from diverse lineages.
Facilities include meditation and movement halls, biofeedback and neuroimaging laboratories,
nature immersion gardens, and collaborative research spaces. Through public education,
community initiatives, and international partnerships, the CFH promotes practical pathways to
happiness that foster compassion, creativity, and ethical living.

Ultimately, the Center for Happiness envisions a world where happiness becomes both a
personal birthright and a guiding principle for societal transformation — supporting conscious
evolution by aligning individual joy with planetary harmony and the awakening of humanity’s
highest potential.

GOVERNANCE AND ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY

Management model:

  • Council of Elders: made up of teachers from different traditions who safeguard the integrity of the project

  • Rotating operational team: prevents the consolidation of power and fosters distributed leadership

  • Participants’ assembly: a consultative voice for those who have gone through the programs, supporting continuous improvement

Economic sustainability:

  • 60% income from programs (with scholarships guaranteed for 20% of places)

  • 25% conscious donations from collaborators committed to the vision

  • 15% high-quality editorial and audiovisual production (books, documentaries, podcasts)

  • “Gift economy” model: space for those who wish to contribute beyond the established price

THE FIRST SEED OF A NETWORK OF LIGHT

The Center of Light in Mexico is not a final destination, but the first conscious seed of a global network that will flourish in the coming years. Each center will be unique—respecting its bioregion, local culture, and the spirit of the place—yet all will resonate with shared frequencies: service, integrity, transformation, and active love.

This project embodies the certainty that times of crisis are also times of gestation. While the outer world experiences turbulence, spaces like this offer grounding, clarity, and a renewal of purpose. Not to escape the world, but to return to it with new eyes, healed hands, and an open heart.

The Center of Light is, in essence, an act of practical faith: faith that humanity can consciously choose its evolution, and that each person who awakens contributes to illuminating the collective path.
