DR. DAVID URIAS

David Urias is a social impact strategist, evaluator, and educator whose career spans global nonprofits, philanthropy, and enterprise‑level transformation. He most recently served as Lead for Social Impact Programs, Planning & Performance at the Project Management Institute, where he developed PMI’s social impact strategy, built SDG‑aligned measurement systems, and guided cross‑functional teams in embedding social value into organizational decision‑making.

With more than two decades of experience in program evaluation, sustainability, and youth‑focused educational initiatives, David has led large‑scale organizational change efforts, designed impact frameworks, and cultivated partnerships with ministries of education, state leaders, and global NGOs. His work consistently bridges rigorous analytics with human‑centered leadership, helping organizations translate complex data into meaningful action.

David holds a PhD in International Educational Policy Studies from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Villanova University. He is a Social Value Accredited Practitioner and a long‑time advocate for equitable access to learning, community empowerment, and values‑driven leadership.
