Fátima Ureña Santana Vocal

From a very young age, she embarked on a path of spiritual searching that led her to live in a contemplative monastery for many years. This experience profoundly shaped her way of understanding life, cultivating a love of reflection, introspection, silence, peace, and the ongoing search for answers to the great questions of human existence.

She is an industrial psychologist with a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Management. She is currently continuing to broaden her academic horizons as a future doctor in Neuropedagogy, a discipline that allows her to unite her passion for education, psychology, and understanding the brain and learning. Professionally, she works as a secondary-level teacher at a university-affiliated educational center, teaches Industrial Psychology at the Dominican University of Industrial Psychology (UPID), and serves as a research advisor at the same institution. Her educational career is characterized by a desire to accompany others through processes of learning, growth, and transformation. She defines herself as a dreamer, an inquirer, and a woman deeply devoted to peace and to the curiosity of researching, learning, discovering, and following her intuition to look beyond what is evident. From a very young age, she embarked on a path of spiritual searching that led her to live in a contemplative monastery for many years. This experience profoundly shaped her way of understanding life and cultivated in her a love of reflection, introspection, silence, peace, and the ongoing search for answers to the great questions of human existence. Her story continues to be written, and perhaps her greatest achievement is precisely this: continuing to be a woman who dreams, seeks, learns, contemplates, and who, despite the path already traveled, still preserves her excitement for everything yet to come.
